A fabulous range of gowns in stock for hire. Sizes range from 2 - 26. The Hire Me Collection As well as the huge range of gowns to purchase, there is also a fabulous range of gowns to hire. Standard Gown hire is from 9 am Thursday to 5 pm Monday. You can also now book custom dates. The hire fee includes the cleaning. You simply return the gown after you have worn it... we do the rest. The bond is the same price as a standard hire period... for example $150 hire will be $150 bond. Full T & C's are stated on the contract and must be read before signing. Please note that every designer has their own size chart, so you may need a size bigger or smaller than you are used to. I have been in the wedding and ball gown industry since 1990, and in that time, I have seen countless women transform into their most beautiful selves with the perfect gown. I love every aspect of my career. Starting with a fabrics company where I learnt just about all there is to know about how fabrics move, and how it effects the look and structure of a garment. I found it truly fascinating. I get very excited when a designer sends me Look Books to choose the next seasons gowns. I can't wait to share the "Just Arrived" styles with my clients via my Facebook and Instagram pages. I am like a child at Christmas when they start to arrive in stock!! But of course, the ultimate pleasure is when my lovely clients try the gowns on....the smile on their face when they have found the perfect gown. It is a reaction I will never get tired of seeing. I am truly dedicated to providing a high-quality service and complete customer satisfaction; therefore, I will always do everything I can to meet your expectations. My journey took me to Confetti & Lace in the UK. I had over 9 amazing years working with Christine Dando. Her knowledge and passion inspired me every day. During those years I worked with thousands of brides and bridesmaids. Helping each client find the perfect gown for her big day. But my job didn't end there. I also did the fittings, worked on hundreds of gowns, and so many shows I lost count. Speaking to designers and drawing from their knowledge and ideas gave me such an insight the the industry....There are no set rules, go with your heart and create!!!!! It was a massive continuation to my dressmaking skills. I was very proud to be part of the winning team for Bridal Retailer of the Year in 2002. Not so proud of my hair cut at the time....that's me on the far right (previous surname Fellows). It's true that during those years I have created, fitted and altered over one thousand gowns. I gained a vast amount of experience working for and with other people. It has been a huge part of my career. But it was time to move to the next stage. So in 2011 Alison PS Designs officially was born. In July 2021 my business name changed to Alison PS Gowns. This is because I no longer have time to design bespoke gowns. It was a big decision but definitely the right one. My focus is now on promoting great designers' gowns. It is a very exciting chapter in the growth of my business. The Alison PS Gowns Baldivis Studio In July 2024, we relocated to a bigger store in Robinson Road, Rockingham. It was a big decision to make after years of working from a home studio. As it turned out, the overheads were just too much...and it seems our wonderful client base never minded the home studio. So, we have gone back to what had worked so well for over 12 years....a home studio. The new studio is in the Settlers Hills area of Baldivis, just a 2 minute walk from the Baldivis Sports Complex on Eighty Road. The studio is smaller but perfectly formed. It truly is the home of beautiful gowns. As always, we offer the best and latest ranges from our wonderful designers. The Baldivis studio has 3 changing rooms, each one ideal for one person, so if you are coming as a group, please feel free to book as many as you need. Meet the team. We have recently relocated to a home studio in the lovely Settlers Hills area of Baldivis, just a 2-minute walk from the Baldivis Sports Complex on Eighty Road. The move has meant we can continue to give our clients the best prices and the best range of gowns in a relaxed environment...and don't worry, you do not actually come into our personal space. The studio has it's own entrance. All we ask is that you always park on our property and not on our neighbour's verge. Do I need to book an appointment or can I just walk in? Yes, you do need to book an appointment. Our easy-to-use booking form right here on our website is by far the best option. It takes just a few minutes and allows you to select from all the dates, times and changing rooms with available spaces. What type of booking do I need? Find My Perfect Gown - 1 Hour. We recommend this for clients coming for the first time. We find 1 hour is the perfect amount of time to go through the gowns, select your styles and try them on...often a few times too. Retry/Quick Visit - 30 min. If you have been to us before and want to retry a gown before you decide, this is ideal for you. Equally, if you have been called to say your gown order has arrived, this booking gives you ample time to try your gown on before you take it home. Are bookings free? Yes, they are completely free. We do not charge for our time spent with you, that includes all bookings and walk-ins. You only pay for the gown / accessories that your purchase or hire. Why should I become a Site Member? Site Members can easily control their own bookings. You will be able to see all your bookings, including previous ones. You will be able to change dates and times, and cancel if you no longer need the booking. It is fast and easy to create a profile and will allow you access to Member Only bonuses. Enter your birthday and receive a Birthday reward. How do I change / cancel a booking? The easiest way is to become a site member. It takes just a couple of minutes. Once done, it allows you to edit or cancel your booking directly. No need to email or call us to make the changes. If you do not wish to become a site member, simply call, email or message us via live chat. We will do the rest for you. What size range do you stock? We stock gowns from sizes 2 - 40. However, this is not from every designer. Many designers have a much smaller size range. What is your price range? Bridal gowns range from $300 - $3000 All other gowns to buy range from $99 - $800. Hire Me gowns range from $90 - $300. Clearance gowns start at $20. Accessories range from $22 - $300 Do you only stock branded gowns? Yes we do. We are proud to be a regional, and exclusive stockist of gowns from some of the best Australian, American and European designers. The full list of designers can be found on the Home page. Do you control how many of the same gown is sold or hired to the same event? Yes we do. Some gowns are very popular and are available in up to 54 colours. You wouldn't want to arrive at an event and see that many women in the same gown. We keep a list of every major event that a gown is sold/hired to. This includes all school balls, main awards nights, charity balls, services balls. We will allow a max of 2 of the same gown, but in different colours to be sold/ hired to that particular event. If the gown only has a few colour options, then only 1 gown will be allowed. Obviously, we cannot control gowns that have been brought elsewhere, but by keeping the list we reduce the risk of too many people wearing the same gown.
