Sadly, the overheads of the store are too high, and since we traded very successfully from a home studio for over 12 years, it is the sensible thing to do. The new studio has its own entrance, so you will not be coming into our private residence. These are the things you need to know. 1 - The Rockingham store will close for relocation 5pm Friday July 18. We will re-open 9am Monday July 28. 2 - The new location is in the Settlers Hills area of Baldivis. A 3 min walk from the Baldivis Sports Complex on Eighty Road. To avoid walk-ins, the address will be given to you when you book an appointment. 3 - The easiest way to book an appointment is from this website. It only takes a few minutes. 4 - There is plenty of parking to the front and side of the property. So please do not park on our neighbour's verge. 5 - The business hours will not change; except we will no longer be open on Sundays. 6 - Everything else about Alison PS Gowns will be exactly the same. I have been in the wedding and ball gown industry since 1990, and in that time, I have seen countless women transform into their most beautiful selves with the perfect gown. I love every aspect of my career. Starting with a fabrics company where I learnt just about all there is to know about how fabrics move, and how it effects the look and structure of a garment. I found it truly fascinating. I get very excited when a designer sends me Look Books to choose the next seasons gowns. I can't wait to share the "Just Arrived" styles with my clients via my Facebook and Instagram pages. I am like a child at Christmas when they start to arrive in stock!! But of course, the ultimate pleasure is when my lovely clients try the gowns on....the smile on their face when they have found the perfect gown. It is a reaction I will never get tired of seeing. I am truly dedicated to providing a high-quality service and complete customer satisfaction; therefore, I will always do everything I can to meet your expectations. My journey took me to Confetti & Lace in the UK. I had over 9 amazing years working with Christine Dando. Her knowledge and passion inspired me every day. During those years I worked with thousands of brides and bridesmaids. Helping each client find the perfect gown for her big day. But my job didn't end there. I also did the fittings, worked on hundreds of gowns, and so many shows I lost count. Speaking to designers and drawing from their knowledge and ideas gave me such an insight the the industry....There are no set rules, go with your heart and create!!!!! It was a massive continuation to my dressmaking skills. I was very proud to be part of the winning team for Bridal Retailer of the Year in 2002. Not so proud of my hair cut at the time....that's me on the far right (previous surname Fellows). It's true that during those years I have created, fitted and altered over one thousand gowns. I gained a vast amount of experience working for and with other people. It has been a huge part of my career. But it was time to move to the next stage. So in 2011 Alison PS Designs officially was born. In July 2021 my business name changed to Alison PS Gowns. This is because I no longer have time to design bespoke gowns. It was a big decision but definitely the right one. My focus is now on promoting great designers' gowns. It is a very exciting chapter in the growth of my business. The Alison PS Gowns Rockingham Store In July 2024, we relocated to a bigger store in Robinson Road, Rockingham. It was a big decision to make after years of working from a home studio, but the business success and need for more changing rooms made it an obvious and necessary next chapter. The new store has five changing rooms. One is designed for sharing with a bestie, or equally ideal if you have a wheelchair or baby stroller. Our largest changing room is in the Bridal Room. You can book this entire space and feel completely private while you choose the most important gown for your future life. Meet the team. With 5 changing rooms, I can no longer do this alone. So, I am delighted to introduce the Alison PS Gowns team. I pride myself on never being pushy. This friendly approach is something that my team are also naturally good at. I'm sure you will find your perfect gown with the help of any of my fabulous team.

This shorter booking is suitable if you want to retry a gown from a previous booking, have been notified that your gown order has arrived, or if you simply know 30 min is more than enough time for you.

Your 1 hour booking gives you plenty of time to go through the gown rails and select approximately 5 - 10 gowns to try on. I will help you every step of the way, including zipping or lacing up the gown. I will be able to advise you on all your gown options....buy off the rail, order, or hire.
